Play Doh

One crafty day at home, little C and I decided to make a feast for birthdays that are coming soon! Here's what we were able to make in about an hour. :)

A Day of Animal Encounters

One lazy Sunday afternoon, our friendly neighbors invited us to go to Residence Inn Zoo in Tagaytay for an afternoon of animal encounters. :) The kids, at first, were a bit afraid to go near the animals, but eventually conquered their fear and enjoyed their first visit to the zoo.

At the entrance, we were greeted by a big Tiger, a baby Tiger, and a large snake!

The mother Tiger was walking round and round her cage that I couldn't get a decent picture of her.

This baby Tiger was the exact opposite. He was just calmly watching people looking back at him.

Here's our neighbors with little C by the baby Tiger's cage.

This is by far the biggest and longest snake I've seen in my life!

This is a beautiful white miniature horse.

And an equally beautiful Llama that awes on-lookers and passers-by!

Meet Milky, the big white Lion!

Brave little girl on a pony. :)

Our family enjoying the tour of the zoo. =)

How did your weekend go?

United in Prayer

While I was busy "complaining" about not having a helper around, there are thousand others caught in a devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Everyday news have become so depressing. I feel sad for the victims of the very strong earthquake that hit Japan last week. The only thing I can do for now is to offer prayers of hope for the victims' families and the survivors of this tragic event. I continue to pray that no further damage occur from aftershocks and/or threats of radiation leak. May we be united in prayer, Catholics and Buddhists alike, whether Filipino or Japanese, because it is only through united prayer that we can overcome a tragedy like this one. Stay safe!

ME Time

Wow! Again, it's been so long! It's so hard to be a full-time housewife and mom, especially without a helper around. :( Our helper went on vacation for Christmas and New Year, but didn't come back anymore. We're trying to cope without a helper. So far, we've managed, but that also means sacrificing time on the internet. That's why I have been away for so long! No blogging, less social networking. Oh, I missed this! And I missed my online blogger friends. :(

I know some of you are also full-time housewives and mothers. I'm not really complaining. But can you give me tips on how to manage the household, what with a 3-year-old toddler running around the house, toys all over the place, and to top it all off, you still need to cook for the family. Waaah!!! Until now, I am still in awe as to how I'm able to do all that for the past 3 months! It just seems that 24 hours in a day just isn't enough!

I need some ME time. You know what I mean? I miss shopping! I miss going to the parlor! I miss having a professional pedicure and manicure (I do it myself now, you know.. hehehe). And maybe more time for blogging and Facebook, please? ;)
